What?
Bayonne is a city complete with parks that provide important athletic and recreational facilities, green spaces and community areas which help to improve the quality of life. Bayonne Green’s goal is to expand on this concept to include the entire community by expanding the “safe space” to include a path for people on bikes, scooters, and any other micromobility devices to use in order to stay safe.
How?
The focus of BAYONNE GREEN is to blend in with the existing culture to include increased cycling as an accepted form of transportation within the community. The means of reaching this goal would be the addition of a bike path which would not impede the present flow of traffic.
Why?
Bayonne is a BIG LITTLE TOWN that is attracting more small businesses, new home owners, developers and investors. The city is growing with both speed and great efficiency. Our rationale is the alignment of the existing private, commercial, pedestrian and vehicular traffic, keeping in sight the safety and quality of life of the existing community and infrastructure.
